Halloween may look a little different this year, but there are still plenty of festive activities for the whole family to enjoy at pumpkin patches throughout the county.
NORTH COUNTY INLAND
Bates Nut Farm

Rancho Bernardo Pumpkin Farm

U-pick pumpkin patch with tractor hay-wagon rides, petting zoo, and corn maze. Free parking and admission, fee for the corn maze and hay rides. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Oct. 16, then open daily 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

EAST COUNTY
Julian Farm & Orchard

U-pick patch featuring 3 acres of pumpkins. Monday, Thursday and Friday, 11 AM to 5 PM, pumpkin picking only. Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM, open for activities as well including hayrides, barnyard animal zoo, axe throwing, apple cider pressing. On weekends, a minimum of $10 ticket purchase required to use for activities or pumpkin purchase.
Oma’s Pumpkin Patch

Patch with petting corral, pedal cart race track, playground, and wagon rides for $3 a person. Admission fees apply – purchase online before going. Free parking. Open 10 AM to 7 PM, Tues – Sat.
Pumpkin Express
750 Depot Street – Campo
Pumpkin Express at the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum Association features decorated vintage rail car rides through the mountains. Kids encouraged to wear costumes and decorate pumpkins after the train ride. Tickets between $5 and $14, every toddler and child ticket includes a pumpkin. Train rides limited to 50 passengers, and interiors sanitized between rides.
