Established in 1978, Casa de Amparo is recognized as a major force in the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect in San Diego County.
The non-profit organization annually serves over 1,000 “Casa Kids”, from prenatal to 25 years old, as well as over 700 families, through programs that promote healing, growth, and healthy relationships.
Casa de Amparo is the San Diego Chargers Courage House, part of a national network of NFL teams and local charities dedicated to the prevention of child abuse.
Partnering with the greater San Diego community, they strive to ensure that children and their families receive unique and innovative services for healing, for stopping child mistreatment of any kind, and for ending generational cycles of abuse.
“Case de Amparo has long played a key role in helping at-risk children and parents reinforce family bonds and step away from cycles of abuse into cycles of healthy family relationships.” – Bill Horn, County Supervisor Fifth District
