There are many programs currently available for homeowners, families, and businesses impacted by COVID-19. We’ve compiled a list of financial relief programs that may apply to San Diego locals:
CARES ACT
Forbearance for government-backed loans up to 1 year. FHA, VA and USDA – 180 days granted at a time.

California’s 90-Day Grace Period
Reduced or delayed mortgage payments to participating financial institutions. This includes relief for fees and charges. No credit score changes for accessing relief.

San Diego County Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office Penalty Cancellations
Waive the penalty for inability to pay the property taxes that were due April 10.
Applications are due by June 30.

Labor & Workforce Development Agency Benefits
Benefits for employers and workers impacted by the virus. Includes disability insurance, paid family leave, unemployment insurance, paid sick leave, and worker’s compensation.

Small Business Paycheck Protection Program
Provides small businesses with funds to pay up to 8 weeks of payroll costs.
Funds can also be used to pay interest on mortgage, rent and utilities.
